MarkOps Privacy Policy
Last updated: 28 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how MarkOps, operated by Paul's Technologies, handles information when businesses and authorised users use the service.
1. Who we are
MarkOps is operated by Paul's Technologies. For privacy questions or requests, contact abhishek.bandari@paulstechnologies.com.
2. Information users provide
Information may include account and profile information; client or business workspace information; content and media uploaded for publishing; marketing configuration and preferences; and support or contact information.
3. Meta, Facebook and Instagram information
When an authorised user connects Facebook or Instagram, MarkOps may receive information permitted by that user and Meta, including Facebook Page identifiers and names, Instagram Professional account identifiers and names, account permissions, credentials needed for authorised functions, publishing status, provider-generated post or media identifiers, and information needed to validate a connection. MarkOps accesses only the assets the authorised user grants through Meta's authorisation flow.
4. Permissions currently requested
pages_show_list- Used to show the Facebook Pages the authorised user is permitted to manage.
pages_read_engagement- Used to read the Page information needed to identify and validate a connected Page.
pages_manage_posts- Used to publish content to a Facebook Page when a user explicitly schedules or publishes it through MarkOps.
instagram_basic- Used to identify the linked Instagram Professional account and its basic account information.
instagram_content_publish- Used to publish approved content to the connected Instagram Professional account.
5. How information is used
We use information to authenticate users; connect authorised marketing accounts; display connected account information; publish or schedule content requested by the user; maintain publication status and history; secure and operate MarkOps; troubleshoot failures; prevent abuse; and meet legal obligations. MarkOps does not post content merely because an account is connected: publishing occurs only through user-authorised product actions or schedules.
6. Tokens and connected-account credentials
Authentication credentials received from providers are protected and used only for authorised platform operations.
7. Sharing of data
We may share information with Meta, Facebook or Instagram when performing user-requested actions; hosting and infrastructure providers; service providers needed to operate MarkOps; and legal or regulatory authorities where required by law. MarkOps does not sell customer personal data.
8. Data retention
Information is retained only as long as needed to provide the service, maintain legitimate audit and history requirements, and comply with legal or security requirements. Connected-account credentials are removed or invalidated when connections are disconnected where supported by the provider and product lifecycle.
9. User choices and rights
Users may disconnect Facebook or Instagram accounts, request access or correction where applicable, request deletion, withdraw provider access through Meta, and contact Paul's Technologies.
10. Data deletion
For deletion options and instructions, visit MarkOps Data Deletion Instructions.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure.
12. Children
MarkOps is intended for businesses and professional users and is not designed for children.
13. International processing
Our infrastructure and service providers may process information in jurisdictions different from a user's location, subject to appropriate safeguards where applicable.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. This page will show the latest revision date.
